How to Lock WhatsApp Conversations with GBWhatsApp

A GbWhatsapp is a mod version of official WhatsApp. This app lets you enjoy the normal features of WhatsApp plus some other extra added features. This app lets you customize your WhatsApp to one extra level. It includes hiding last seen for a specific contact, change some themes and much more. There is also a feature to lock a chat to ensure some privacy.

To enable this feature, you first have to download GBWhatsApp and install it. Before installing this GBWhatsapp, take a backup from the original WhatsApp. This can be done by following these simple steps.

Step 1 – Navigate to settings in official WhatsApp –> Chat –> Chat Backup

Step 2 – Save it in a folder safely. Install GBWhatsapp after uninstalling the official WhatsApp. If your installation is blocked, then go to settings –> Security –> and check the checkbox which is written before unknown sources.

Step 3 – New WhatsApp launch screen appears where it asks for restoring your previous backup data. Click on continue to move ahead.

Step 4 – The next step is to verify your mobile number with which you used that for the official WhatsApp. Update your profile information and hit the done button to move further.

Step 5 – After hitting the next button you will find all the chats and contacts on the screen.

Step 6 – Go to settings in GBWhatsApp which you will find in the top right corner of the home screen. Navigate to Lock option. The first step is you have to create a short password. To create a password, click on the enable passcode menu and enter your desired 4 digit password.

Step 7 – When your password is set, the next step is to select the conversation that you want to lock. And its done. So, from next time as and when you want to open a chat conversation with that specific person whom you have locked your conversation with, will prompt to enter a password before starting a conversation.

Your privacy is totally in your hand now. No one can read your chat with that specific person unless and until that password is given.

To unlock a chat conversation, just follow the above steps and click on unlock chat.
